Bullies are people who have not learnt to use the intelligences they have. This is their major weakness. Bullies demonstrate their stupidity by highlighting the weaknesses of others in order to cover up their own weaknesses.
We all have strengths and weaknesses, that is normal, the intelligent thing to do is accept your and other people’s weaknesses and major on each other’s strengths.
An employee who is more capable than their boss or the pupil who is brighter than their teacher will always be open to bullying because just by being themselves they can easily demonstrate a capability that the boss or teacher cannot. This can induce jealousy in the immature leading to bullying.
A natural feeling in such a situation would be envy. Envy changes to jealousy when the individual feels they shouldn’t or must not be usurped.
Bullies are people like you and me. The only difference is that they have not understood how to use the intelligences they have.
Put emotion, morals and ethics to one side. What bullies do is just plain stupid. It is destructive not creative.
A bully hurts others because the discomfort they see in others diminishes their own discomfort.
The bully has discomfort because they have not learnt to use their own intelligence, they steal other people’s intelligence and as a consequence are always indebted to them.
Rather than eliminate bullies, which in itself is a destructive act, it would be better to point out to the bully that they are being stupid and if they used their own intelligence, they would feel better about themselves and others. They could also be creative and not be destructive.
